Could you please stop posting all the dupes? All you;re doing is creating more work for those who are trying to help out here.
You don’t walk up to someone and say the same sentence three times in a row, do you?
Keep your posts in this topic instead of hijacking an old topic.
Sure..
I can stick to this one.

I am not sure the inability to post/edit is related to BB.
All the other posts referring to the recent glitch with BB didn’t report anything like this – especially after upgrading.
Did you try different browsers?
Was there anything else (upgrade, new plugins, host server upgrade etc.) that happened in this period?
What kind of “serious problems” are you having? I’m running BB 2.0.11 on my blog, and it works fine.
thanks for the feedback
thankfully I have two WP blogs set-up almost identically.
Intially I had the same problem with both..
But now, after restarting my browser (Mozilla),
I experience no problem on one (even with BB 2.0.11 re-activated)
while I still have the (previously noted) problem with the other.
The latter problematic blog is different in this :
it has .htaccess files set to enforce the use
of the more secure https protocol ..
This is the only difference I am aware of.
I will try removing/masking the .htaccess files and see
if that restores a normal behavior ..
(although, then, that reduces the security level
of the blog..
Is there an alternative to using .htaccess scripts?)
The content of the .htaccess file is this :
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{HTTPS} off
RewriteRule (.*) https://%{HTTP_HOST}%{REQUEST_URI}

https is secure end-to-end, but it’s also more processor intensive. Unless you’re sending credit card data over the link or some such thing, there’s no need for it.
Also, with https, you have to pay for a signed certificate and such, which is a major pain. Are you really sure that https is necessary?
So, when I remove the effect of the .htaccess file..
I do get back the normal behavior (I can post with saved content..).
This happens under Mozilla, Firefox and Explorer BTW.
Would appreciate pointers on reasons for this
or ways around to be able to use https rather than http..
Cheers,
Frederic
Hi
I think we may want to start a different thread;
as the problem observed is not due to BB, but probably
a more general problem of WP with the use of
https addresses.
