    Hi,

yesterday evening there was the automatic update to WordPress 4.4.7.
Since then the site shows the “Error establishing a database connection” error.
Is there a possibility to undo the changes of yesterday?

    It is a multisite network with the plugins akisment, codestyling-localization, contact-form-7, gallery-plugin, google-analytics-for-wordpress, google-analytics-opt-out, kimili-flash-embed, multilingual-press, quick-cache, simple-image-sizes, social-stickers, widget-logic, wordpress-importer, wordpress-mu-domain-mapping, wordpress-seo, wp-issuu, wp-native-dahboard, wponlinebackup, wp-pagenavi, wp-simple-firewall, zencache and a small self made plugin that is not using the database. The template is also self made.

This is a site issue, why do you think it’s relating to Shield?

Because it occurs after the automatic update made by Shield. All previous updates worked well. The database itself is also working fine.

Shield doesn’t perform the automatic updates… it’s turns on the WordPress automatic updates – WordPress itself still runs the update in exactly the same way as if you clicked the update button. Shield provides the interface to turn on a WordPress features that otherwise doesn’t have options to set.
