# Problems adding shortcode

 * Hi,
 * I am copying and pasting shortcode from the author of the theme’s preview page,
   but it doesn’t do anything, just puts the shortcode onto my page. What am I doing
   wrong? Do I need to download the shortcode seperately or does it normally come
   within the theme? I’m new to this and feel as though I’m really struggling!
 * Any help would be appreciated,
