    I installed as version of the plugin – Version 4.2.3 – in fact it tells me that it has been tested with the 3.7 woocommerce version – sending photos for details

    These “tested up to” details are included in all plugins. For WooCommerce extensions, many include the WooCommerce “tested up to” as well as the WordPress version.

    This data is pulled from a file and doesn’t mean it won’t work. It means that a new version of WooCommerce has been released and we (or other plugin developers) haven’t released an update to confirm compatibility.

    You’ll see we have now updated this in version 4.2.4 of Stripe and we are also tracking this to add compatibilty for WooCommerce 3.8 and WordPress 5.3 when they are released: – https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce-gateway-stripe/issues/999
