Since the last update, the search does not work anymore including the pages however, they are checked in the setting. Can I do something?

Thanks this is what I was looking for – if you see the first screenshot / #43 – you’ll see that the page is included in the post_type – the plugin is hunting for that one.

For a query like “top”, it won’t trigger the full-text matching as it is very short – but that result did return 42 results. You can try with some other terms which are four characters and longer.

By the way, I think you have the cache enabled on the basis of the INSERT queries you have in there for the transients.

If you want to debug the search results, you can install a plugin called ARI Adminer – they will be releasing a new version soon –

This allows you to run the query in #43 for example and see what results are thrown out.

You can modify the query to add this after score – , wp_posts.post_title, wp_posts.post_type to add these extra columns to the output that ARI gives you

Hi, I thank you for these explanations but all this is a little complicated for me 🙂 I do not know why the plugin worked very well with the theme before the update and the results were perfect :). I have to uninstall it but it’s still a great plugin. Thank you again for your help.

Sorry – we haven’t been able to fix the issue.

I have the same issue. I turned seamless mode off, and then the Pages are in fact included in the results. But the theme is broken. How can I make both work, as one would expect to?

Could you please clarify – does it include pages in seamless mode and exclude when seamless mode is off.

    What is your setting?
