    Can you please try to re-save the settings on the settings page?

    Thank you for your answer. I tried that but it does not work better. Would uninstalling the plugin and reinstalling it work?Thanks

    You can try that – it should delete the index and settings which come back on reinstall – you might lose your tracked searches.

    Worth doing a reset options first before the uninstall/reinstall.

    We’d need to do a bit of debugging if this doesn’t work by seeing what queries are generated by the plugin on the search pages using the Query Monitor plugin

    You mean I click on: reset all settings ?

    Yes, that’s right.

    Nothing works: I reset, I uninstalled and installed the plugin … the page search does not work anymore. I must not be the only one? Thanks

    @isabelleisea

    Will you be able to install Query Monitor – which is a plugin for seeing which queries are there.

    You need to select Queries by Component and find Better Search in the list.

    Short tutorial is here:
    https://kinsta.com/blog/query-monitor/

    Thank you, I installed the plugin and looked in the requests but better search does not appear in the list of components
    In fact when I do the research on the blog it’s as if he was no longer active at all.

    What is your site URL? Are you checking the results in the Search results page? And, is the cache disabled?

    Excuse me I did not understand that you had to look on the search page. I did a search and I have this data in query monitor: SELECT option_value
    FROM wp_options
    WHERE option_name = ‘ald_bsearch_settings’
    LIMIT 1

    That is one which pulls the options – do you see other results when you look for Queries by component?

    You will have one which is relatively long and contains the MATCH clauses. This is what pulls out your search results

    Hi, i have that in “caller” i d’ont see “match clauses”/ wp()
    wp-includes/functions.php:1105
    WP->main()
    wp-includes/class-wp.php:739
    WP->query_posts()
    wp-includes/class-wp.php:622
    WP_Query->query()
    wp-includes/class-wp-query.php:3387
    WP_Query->get_posts()
    wp-includes/class-wp-query.php:2519
    apply_filters_ref_array(‘posts_where’)
    wp-includes/plugin.php:251
    bsearch_where_clause()

    Can you please go to the settings and turn Seamless mode off and see the results.

    Also if you can post any screenshots of this section

    yes it works if I uncheck but the results are displayed on one page and without photos? You want the screenshot of which part exactly? excuse me I do not understand.

    Thanks for confirming it works with seamless mode off – at least we know the plugin is fetching the results. I assume you mean the pages are also included here in the search results?

    For the screenshot – can you post a screenshot of the window that Query Monitor creates – you can resize it to fill the entire screen. This should give me a view of all the queries that are generated by the plugin.

    Also, you haven’t shared your site URL.

    Also a screenshot of the Search tab – https://ps.w.org/better-search/assets/screenshot-2.png?rev=1869582
