Hello Yoast SEO is making all of my posts noindex through X-Robots i’m pretty sure the plugin is is the culprit since the disallowed tag by x-robots has been removed when i tried to deactivate the plugin.

I’m wondering why is it that my posts are not being indexed by google even my posts are set to index in the settings of yoast seo plugin

I saw the x-robot disallowed tag in my website auditor tool.

If you would check the source code of one of my post you cannot see noindex in the code as the disallowed is in x-robot tag which i don’t have much idea how it works.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

We looked at your these following pages and we don’t see any noindex robots meta generated by Yoast SEO plugin on your site:

Can you please share some example URLs where the issue remains occurring for you so that we can take a look?

Yes you cannot see a ‘noindex’ tag in the code, but according to SEO powersuite’s Website Auditor my posts are disallowed by X-robots preventing my posts to be indexed. I don’t know why this is happening but when i deactivate the plugin the disallowed tag from x-robots are gone. Please see the screenshot form the website auditor.

I can give you details for my account so you can check my settings. This is only happening on my site’s posts. Homepage, pages and categories are all fine. I even temporarily change my site’s theme and it still doesn’t resolve the issue. that disallowed tag will only be removed if the plugin is deactivated.

Unfortunately, we are unable to confirm why SEOSEO PowerSuite is saying the Disallowed (X-Robots-Tag) for your posts, we can confirm that Yoast SEO isn’t outputting anynoindex robots meta. We can also confirm that your blog posts are appearing fine in the search results. So, you can either ignore what SEO PowerSuite is showing to you or reach out the SEO PowerSuite support for assistance. They’d be the best place to explain this.

Just figured it out. It’s cloudflare making disallowed to x-robot tag i don’t know this happened but i just tried to disabling cloudflare and it solves my problem. I hope this helps to some others who are facing the same issue.

Thanks for sharing the solution, we’re happy to hear you managed to find out what was adding the x-robots noindex tag.
