# Problem with WPML

 * Hi, the canonic url is not correct because i’m using WPML with different domain
   per language. How can i fix it?

 * Thanks for reaching out about your canonical URL. You mentioned that the canonical
   URL is not correct, but when I checked the page you shared, I don’t see anything
   wrong:

 * The Yoast SEO plugin uses self-referencing canonical URLs. This means that the
   canonical URL defaults to the URL of the page. But when you set something else
   as canonical, you are signalling that the page URL should be ignored, and the
   specified canonical URL should be included in the sitemap and consequently indexed
   by search engines.
