Problem with wpForo

    Hi,

    Since September 20, members can no longer register with wpForo on my website. Of course I wrote to the support there and they told me that it should be due to GDPR Cookie C. I do not know if that’s the problem, but if I disable the plugin, it will work again.

    I would like to report this issue, maybe you’ve changed something, which could cause it. Actually, I do not want to do without a plugin, otherwise the premium version would have been in vain. I hope that the problem will be solved soon. 🙂

    Maybe do you know why that could be?

    Hi @comicschau,

    Thanks for using our plugins.

    We have installed the wpForo to our test site and using the latest version of the GDPR Cookie Compliance plugin everything works smoothly. The login / registration as well.

    In order to continue the investigation we need more details:
    1. Website URL to see if you have any console errors
    2. WordPress version
    3. GDPR Cookie Compliance version (currently installed on your site)
    4. wpForo plugin version (currently installed on your site)
    5. PHP version used

    Once we get the details above, we can continue the investigation.

    Hi,

    gVectors (developers of wpForo) contacted me and said that this isn’t a conflict with GDPR. Hurray! So this isn’t a problem with your plugin. 🙂
