Problem with widget “Rotating Tweets” in Virtue theme 2.8.4 | WordPress.org

I’m not sure where this problem is located but I’ve had it for a while leading to me deactivating the “Rotating Tweets” widget.

I just tried installed the latest version of “Rotating Tweets” which was updated 2 days ago. But I still get this when activating it:

Notice: Undefined variable: rt_tweet_string in /var/www/web261/web/wp-content/plugins/rotatingtweets/rotatingtweets.php on line 165

Help is appreciated.

That’s quite unusual – since the default settings in PHP would normally hide that error message.

I’ve uploaded a new development version that should fix it.

Does it work for you?

I know it’s a little unususal but I’m not using a ftp client. I just manage my site online. Any chance that you can update it in the plugins section?

Btw I don’t see any code now on my homepage at the moment. The plugin still doesn’t work though.

Is the site public? If I can see the HTML, I might be able to see the problem.

Before pushing it public, I’ll need to do some more tests – to make sure there are no unintended consequences.

Latest upgrade to the plug-in now fixes this – although it’s possible that your PHP error settings may lead to further errors being shown.
