# Problem with upgrading plugins

 * I get all kind of errors if i want to update a plugin.
    I use WP 2.7
 * Frist of all this shows up:

 * `open_basedir restriction`
    this is your host’s security settings ask them where
   the `tmp` folder needs to be so you use this upgrade method
