# Problem with updating theme

 * I am having a problem with update virtue
 * I seem to be getting this:
    An error occurred while updating Virtue: Download
   failed. Failed to write request to temporary file.
 * I am using the latest wordpress and have deactivated all plugins and still the
   same reply
 * any help would be appreciated

 * If you are using version 1.5.4 then go here
 * [http://wordpress.org/themes/download/virtue.1.5.5.zip](http://wordpress.org/themes/download/virtue.1.5.5.zip)
 * download the theme to your computer and then upload it from your computer and
   that should do it, at least it did it for me..

 * I think there was something going on with the wordpress.org, theme downloads 
   across the board were really low today. Let me know if you still can’t update.

 * I did what you said….it struggled then came back with…
 * Network Error (tcp_error)
 * A communication error occurred: “Can’t send more”
    The Web Server may be down,
   too busy, or experiencing other problems preventing it from responding to requests.
   You may wish to try again at a later time.
 * I don’t thaink it’s anything to do with Virtue – I have a feeling that my .tmp
   files are full. I may have to contact my host and get them to clear it

 * Thanks for a great theme!
 * I am having problems when updating to the 1.5.5
    the theme disappears…..hoping
   it will work it self out, have tried installing it manually like mentioned above,
   but no luck yet…
 * Any other ideas?

 * Not sure, that sounds really strange I would try contacting your hosting provider?
