Problem with updating from 2.7 to 2.7.1

I have been trying to update one of my WordPress sites from v 2.7 to 2.7.1 using the “Upgrade Automatically” function. The problem I am having is that when I enter all of the information in the required fields and then click on the “Proceed” button for some reason additional text is added to the “Hostname” field. Here’s what happens

I enter the Hostname for the update: mysite.org

Complete the rest of the form, and click on Proceed.

I get the error “Error: There was an error connecting to the server, Please verify the settings are correct.”

and the Hostname now shows: mysite.org://mysite.org/wp

Any idea where this additional text is coming from?
