  • Resolved Recyclart

I have this error with autopost on Twitter since the last couple of days:
[Error] [Twitter – Twitter] – -=ERROR=- Array ( [pgID] => [isPosted] => 0 [pDate] => 2014-02-11 19:03:07 [Error] => Resp: {“errors”:[{“code”:226,”message”:”This request looks like it might be automated. To protect our users from spam and other malicious activity, we can’t complete this action right now. Please try again later.”}]}| Error: | MSG: Wooden pallet table : – #PalletTable ) | PostID: 8782 – Wooden pallet table |im

Is this due to a change in Twitter API or is it on my side ? I have the last version of the plugin.
    Thanks for your feedback!

The answer is in the FAQ – #3.3:

    Thank you for your reply.
I have checked the FAQ but what is strange is that I didn’t change my settings for Twitter since many months and it was working well before…so looks like something has changed on Twitter side…

Twitter recently implemented new SPAM protection mechanism and still tweaking it.

    Dear NewtScripts,

I just installed your software (and bought the pro version), but even for testing, twitter is giving me the same error message.

    Did you find a solution?

Thanks for your excellent work otherwise.

There will be no general solution. Twitter is hardening it’s spam protection.
