problem with translation

    Hi there,
    the addonify-floating-cart.pot file (to translate the language) is damaged.
    If i open it with po edit, I see this error message

    “The file may be damaged or in a format not recognized by Poedit.”

    Note: We can export POT file from here https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/addonify-floating-cart/ once we select the language.

    Hi there,
    I followed the instructions.
    I downloaded the po file, I have translated it and uploaded it to the folder …wp-content/plugins/addonify-floating-cart/languages/wp-plugins-addonify-floating-cart-stable-it_IT.po, but I still can’t see the translation.
    Why?

    Hi @andrianiannalisayahooit

    I am sorry, I also tested and it looks like it doesn’t work with .PO file for some reason. Then, I tried uploading .MO file & it worked.

    Let me explain:

    1. Please go back to PoEdit open wp-plugins-addonify-floating-cart-stable-it_IT.po file.
    2. From the top left, go to File & click an option called compiled to MO. It should generate the MO file.
    3. Now rename both PO & MO file to addonify-floating-cart-it_IT.po & addonify-floating-cart-it_IT.mo
    4. Upload both PO & MO files to …wp-content/plugins/addonify-floating-cart/languages/
    5. Done.

    Note: Please make sure the names of the files is addonify-floating-cart-it_IT.mo & addonify-floating-cart-it_IT.po

    It should work this time.
