the specific title i entered for the home page under the general settings for All-in-One SEO is not being generated instead the homepg is using the title and subtitle under the wordpress general settings.
I have also tried entering a specific title on the home page itself in wordpress by entering the title into the ALl-In-One seo fields within the homepg in WordPress- it still does not generate the title entered into the wordpress settings for the home page. The description entered does work and is shown on the homepg
I have also added a specific title for the ‘entertainment’ page – the meta title i entered in the all-in-one seo fiekds for this pg is “Entertainment for Events’.
Hoever, the title is not generated so it just says ‘Entertainment | BC Event Management’
i have used this plugin for yrs- it doesnt work now???
can someone please explain to me why the titles are not being generated properly?
i have deleted the plugin and reinstalled it – nothing works it will not show a specific title for the home page or any of the other pages just the simple title format of <title> | <name of blog> .
I want to have the titles i entered show on the site
This is happening because your theme is using output buffering and is overwriting what All in One SEO Pack writes as the title. You can try changing the settings in All in One SEO Pack for Use Original Title (http://semperplugins.com/documentation/general-settings/#useoriginaltitle) and Force Rewrites (http://semperplugins.com/documentation/performance-settings/#forcerewrites).
