• Hello, I have setup the plugin to read only the title in contextual. But I noticed that when the title is long, it gives back no products with message “AWS.ECommerceService.NoExactMatches: We did not find any matches for your request.”
If I reduce the title, then it is working perfectly.
    Any hint on that?

    Hi,

The contextual widget/unit uses the post title unmodified as the search keywords. So if you have to set only the title for the search criteria, then there is nothing you can do about it at the moment, sorry.

    Thanks for your understanding.

    Hello,

yes indeed! But since I have only one post category, when I tick the taxonomy option to read, all my amazon affiliate products are the same (!!!) for all posts. That is my problem.
    Any suggestions on that?

    Thank you

What about using tags (the other post taxonomy)?

When using tags, one time the plugin reads the tag and the other time reads the category.

If you don’t like it, there is nothing you can do about it at the moment, sorry.

In v3.6.0, a filter hook named aal_filter_contextual_keywords is added for contextual keywords, meaning third parties can now modify generated keywords.

If you are still looking for a solution for this problem. Let me know. It is just a matter of truncating long characters.
