    Hi

    This URL has the following meta description:
    http://www.mariodefina.com
    Home de Mario De Fina || Periodismo · Fotografía · Historia || Todos los derechos reservados || Sígueme en las redes sociales. || English version available.

    If you search in Google: ” Mario De Fina”:

    Mario De Fina: Home
    http://www.mariodefina.com/
    Mario De Fina. Journalism | Photography | History. 3 … Twitter · Linkedin · Instagram. Designed by Mario De Fina || Copyright 2016 || All rights reserved.

    If you search in Google ”mariodefina”:
    http://www.mariodefina.com/
    CHRONICLES. Inspiring stories. http://www.mariodefina.com/en/chronicles.. BLOG. Cautivating articles. http://www.mariodefina.com.

    Why?, the first metadescription is the correct one, it appear in all the social media but not in Google, this meta is in Yoat Seo and in the main Seo of the website. I am using Divi, I made the correct integration with the Google Search Console and with the Google Analytics…Ahhh!, and I used it too: ” <meta name=”robots” content=”noodp”/> ”

    Could anybody help me?. I am working so hard but I cannot fix it

    It can take up to a week for Google to index the changes you made, depending on how often your website is crawled. So for now, we’ll have to wait for Google to crawl your site again.

    Sometimes you can speed up this process as described in this KB: Fetch as Googlebot

    Hi, but your answer is not enough. I am having this trouble since I created the web, not since a week ago. Could you try to help me?. This issue is not resolve.

    If it’s been a while already, this most likely means either you haven’t set a meta description or Google doesn’t like the description you provided.

    This page is not outputting a meta description. Please add a description for the page. If you have added a meta description, please try the suggestions in this article: I’m not seeing a meta description in my <head> section?

    Ultimately Google will, as you have seen, make the final decision on what they show in their search results. Due to this being handled on Google’s end, there is little you can do to force Google to display the preferred description. The best advice I can provide, unfortunately, is to try different descriptions. This article provides advice on creating the right description for your site.

    Dear Amboutwe:

    I am very thankfull for your help, but I cannot fix this problem, going to your example, the Google Meta Description of contact is:

    Subject. Your Message. Sending … Facebook · Twitter · Linkedin · Instagram. Designed by Mario De Fina || Copyright 2016 || All rights reserved.

    But the excerpt and the Yoat Seo description are:

    Mario De Fina Contact Page || Journalism · Photography · History || All rights reserved || Follow me on social media.

    I belive that the description created by me, is better and more understable that the ”created” by Google. Could it be any problem with other plugins?. I need fix this problem but I dont understand what to do.

    Thanks

    For other hands, all the metadescription for my website has been ”rejected” by Google, dont care if it was in Spanish or in English. Is very strange, and I am sure that It should be a problem of the plugin or compatibility with another plugin.

    The contact page is not outputting a meta description even though you’ve entered on in the plugin. Please check if the theme file(s) for the contact page contains a call to wp_head(). If you’re not sure how to check theme files, please contact your theme developer.

    Contact page (relevant output only):

    <title>Contact - Mario De Fina</title>
    <link rel="canonical" href="http://www.mariodefina.com/en/contact/"/>

    Homepage (relevant output only):

    <title>Inicio - Mario De Fina</title>
    <meta name="description" content="Home de Mario De Fina || Periodismo · Fotografía · Historia || Todos los derechos reservados || Sígueme en las redes sociales. || English version available."/>
    <link rel="canonical" href="http://www.mariodefina.com/"/>
