Problem with Text charset ? Ä Ö Ü …

Hi!
I’m having a problem,
the ä, ö, ü are not displayed, but a question mark..
I’m fetching data with mysqli from a database, but that database is with utf-8..
Any ideas?
Can I modify charset in this widget? or replace this ä ö and ü with html entities?
