# Problem with taxes

 * Hi all!!
 * I’m having a problem with this wonderfull plugin and the modern template.
 * The problem is when you apply a discount in your order, the taxes are calculated
   before discount, and this is of course incorrect.
 * Taxes need to be calculated after discount, and never before.
 * Is there any way to change it??
 * I opened the invoice template, but don’t know to change this.
 * **Same problem with discounts. I need the discount excluding taxes, and now the
   template give me the discount of the price with taxes.**

    This is a WooCommerce Coupon setting (check “Apply before 
   tax”) rather than an issue with the PDF Invoices & Packing Slips plugin. The 
   invoices are based on the tax data from the woocommerce orders and doesn’t recalculate
   these.
