  • Hi horecapascarella,

Do you mean the sitemap is not being detected by Google?

Also, did you recently change anything in the plugin settings (e.g. such as SEO settings)?

The sitemap is detected by google, but when you look for the products nothing comes out. If instead I look directly for the link of a product it comes out to me, and I noticed that in the title the name of the product does not come out but only “PRODUCTS” comes out. For this reason maybe it doesn’t find anything on google

    Hi horecapascarella,

Did the sitemap ever work properly? If so, did you recently apply any updates to the site or its’ plugins?

The updates are all done, the sitemap in the past has had some malfunction due to some slashes inside the slug that I then repaired.

Thank you for letting us know 🙂

    So how can I move?

We may need to take a couple steps back here. I thought you meant you had resolved your issue. Clearly, I’m misunderstanding what your issue is. What do you mean when you say only “products” comes out?

We cannot help you optimize your site or be found higher in search rankings. That is up to you. What our plugin does is create a sitemap for you, so that you can make use of the tools available in Google’s Search Console.

Yes, I understand that you can’t help me optimize my website in search engines.
The problem is that even if I write a specific product from the article catalog on Google it just doesn’t come out.
Even if I copy / paste a link to a product and look for it on google it doesn’t appear correctly. As a title in the search, “Products” is the name of the page but the name of the product does not come out

    Hi horecapascarella,

The sitemap will always be generated in the root of our plugin’s folder on your server (i.e. http://example.com/wp-content/plugins/ultimate-product-catalogue/upcp-site-map.xml). I tried to access the sitemap on your site and it seems to look fine. If you are trying to optimize the site for search engine then you can enable the “SEO By Yoast Integration” in the plugin settings. Once done, you can then use the Yoast plugin to optimize your site for search engines.

Also, could you please check your .htaccess file if it has any such rules that is hindering search engine crawlers to access your sitemap?
