Hi there. I just upgraded/updated the siteground optimizer and lost all my ads. It is no big deal, I just turned it off. But this is more to notify you that there is a conflict and anyone else who has the same problem. It is 100% the optimizer as if i turn it on the ads disappear, turn it off all good. Cheers

    Hi gazdog,

    thanks for reaching out.

Interesting, I am not aware of a general problem with the SiteGround optimizer. But since this plugin can have effects on third-party scripts like ad codes or plugin features running on your website, I like to take a closer look.

    > I just upgraded/updated the SiteGround optimizer and lost all my ads.

Are you referring to your ad units created with the Advanced Ads plugin in your backend, or do you do not see ads in the front end after activating the site ground optimizer?

It seems like your website is also using Advanced Ads premium add-ons. The forums on wordpress.org are only for the plugins that are also hosted here. I want kindly ask you to reach out to our customer support referring to this tread. I will also post an update right here if we narrow down the issue.

Thanks for understanding, and we hopefully meet there.

    Best regards,
    Henning

No problem. If it is any help to you, I disabled all caches, etc, and still couldn’t get it to work. I also played around with disabling scripts etc but it made no difference. Great plugin by the way 🙂 Cheers Gaz

Sorry didn’t see the whole reply:
The ads on the frontend disappear, can still see them in the backend.

I don’t need support, i just deleted the optimizer as i really don’t need it.

    Thanks anyway

    Hi gazdog,

    Thanks for the reply.

I will monitor the requests about the SiteGround optimizer and run further tests, since I would really like to analyze the behavior if it’s reproducible.

Thank you for the feedback about the plugin as well! Would you find a minute to say it here?
