 * – this one is embarrassing
    – I’ve been trying to migrate my site from earthlink
   to yahoo small business – I installed wordpress in the yahoo directory thinking
   that I would manually transfer files over – I installed wordpress with the same
   user name and password as my earthlink site and then deleted the new wordpress
   installation on the yahoo directory
 * -now my original site is a mess and I can’t login
 * – please help and be kind

 * do you still have the old site, you could try deleting the new site’s database
   and directory, and re-migrate using wp-duplicator plugin (super easy migration)

 * Thanks for taking the time to reply! I worked with the way Yahoo wants to install
   wordpress and got everything mostly working.
