Question. I have al different size product images, but when I add to different products on woocommerce they are always cropped to be the same size for shop archives picture. I have one picture on an item that is taller than every other image. Why is that? How can I fix it? I just started learning css just so I could add borders to products, make single line titles, etc. All so that my shop page looks clean and even. Now, this one picture makes it uneven and it’s bothering the crap out of me.

If you go to the page i shared the product I’m talking about is 2nd row down second product in called Nano-CBD Multivitamins….

    Hi there,

    Thank you for reaching out!

I understand that you’re confused why this image is cropped differently from the others:

As a next step, I’ve compared the product images of these two products, since the thumbnail is generated using the main product image:

    https://themassapothecary.com/nano-cbd-multivitamin-vitagummies-300mg/

    https://themassapothecary.com/nano-cbd-oil-for-pets-300mg/

The size of the image of the first product is 300 × 372 while the size of the image of the second product is 550 × 550.

The size and the aspect ratio of the first image suggest it might not be possible to crop that image to a square without losing image quality, so I’d suggest using a bit larger images, preferably pre-cropped to the same aspect ratio. Although simply using a larger image should do the trick.

    I hope this helps!
