    Dear all,

    I have a problem with the GDPR plug-in on our website.
    There are several problems.

    First of all: I cannot make a ‘decline’ button. However, I can understand that this is due to the fact that people can turn off cookies, and then accept the settings. However, if they do so, the pop-up comes up again on our website, so our visitors are forced to ACCEPT our cookies in order to get rid of the pop-up.

    Second of all: whenever someone is ticking off settings (for example, they don’t want Analytics cookies), and they then accept the settings, the settings are getting completely resetted. Resulting in the fact that basically everyone has to accept all of our cookies, or they are experiencing a user unfriendly website, since the pop-up remains on the website.

    I have no idea how to fix this.

    Thanks for using our plugins.

    Please see my answers to your questions below:

    1. We will try to implement a decline all button to the plugin and will be available in a future release. Currently all the cookie could be disabled by turning off the “Strictly necessary cookies” checkbox.

    2. I’ve checked the page provided above, and it seems you have the cookies enabled by default, once the user open the settings and disable one of the cookies, and click to the save settings button, the preferences will be stored and the Cookie Banner becomes hidden. Also, you’ve renamed “Strictly Necessary Cookies” to “Social Cookies”, which may confuse the users, as if they disable this option in the Cookie Settings Screen, the rest of the cookies will be disabled and the Cookie Banner becomes visible again. The Strictly Necessary section was created to store the user preferences related to Cookie Banner and rest of the cookies.

    I hope this makes sense.

    Thank you for your quick response.
    I have changed social cookies to strictly necessary, and it now works as it should be working. The pop-up doesn’t appear anymore when we decline the cookies now.
