    Hey, people.

The RSS feed for my online magazine Split Magazine is working fine, I have subscribed to the feed using both NewsGator and Bloglines to test it. I’m getting all updates properly.

The issue is, in the Options>Reading panel in the WordPress admin panel, I’ve set it up to display only the summaries for each article in the RSS feeds, but it still shows entire articles instead of just the summaries. How do I fix this?

If you want to know, the site is powered by WordPress v2.0.1.

I looked at your RSS feed, but I’m not seeing the complete article text, just the summaries.

Forget what NewsGator and Bloglines shows you. They may have your feed cached from *before* you turned off the entire articles.

Look at your actual feed instead: http://split-magazine.com/feed/

It ain’t magic. You don’t really need other programs to “test” it. Just read the thing. Do you see the full article in there?

Hey, Otto42. Thanks a lot, I checked the feed link and it does show only summaries.

I don’t really know too much about how it works, so there. Thanks a million 🙂
