 * So, yes, it is me again.
 * I changed my reading settings because I wanted to get posts to the frontpage
   in Blacbird theme (which didnt do it that way by default).
 * Now I installed a new theme (Catchbox) which does so, but also has a real good
   looking slider by default. Now that I have changed those reading-settings, I
   cant get that slider. It is the same problem with every theme, the posts now
   overrun the header in each(I guess header is the right term). If anyone understood,
   possible solutions ?
 * I would be fine with t. ex resetting Reading-settings, but I just cant find an
   option to do that.
 * My site is [http://www.undefined-gaming.com/](http://www.undefined-gaming.com/)
 * Thanks in advance.

 * Try **Settings > Reading**
 * Look under Theme Options for other theme settings for the slider.

 * I tried Settings > Reading, but I cant find anything useful there. It’s like
   once I turned it on, there is no way to turn it off. Or atleast that’s the way
   it feels for me.
 * It’s like after I did something with Reading-settings, something essential is
   missing from the theme’s Homepage in every theme.

 * I would like to have it laid like in this img, which SHOULD be the default look
   of this theme

 * but instead it looks like this [http://www.undefined-gaming.com/](http://www.undefined-gaming.com/)

   due to something I did with Reading-settings which I cant find how to undo.

 * Themes don’t look like much until you’ve added content and set them up. You need
   to first create some posts (under **Posts**) and then go to **Appearance > Featured
   Slider** and assign those posts to the slider – you do that by using the Post
   ID (found on the posts screen) in the box under the slider settings.

 * Thanks !
 * That pretty much answered my question as I now got my the slider appear. Didnt
   know that I have to turn it on from Featured Slider.
