    Hello,

We’re having an issue with several areas of our site auto-archiving when the plugin is activated. Why would this happen, and how can I stop it?

For example, all of our blog posts, podcasts, and certain pages archived themselves at different times. And when I republish them, they eventually go back to being archived.

    Thanks,

    BT

Th only way this can happen i if each post/page/ or cpt has an archive date set, as long as an archive date is set plugin will try to auto archive each post.

go into the post and make sure the archive date has been completely removed

I am resolving this for good order as I donĀ“t think there was an issue. I will still monitor the thread though

Unfortunately, no, it wasn’t resolved. The posts do not have archive dates, yet they kept being auto-archived. The problem was with the plugin, so I was forced to stop using it.

The code is quite clear, in order for them to be archived they MUST have archive dates. The reason is likely then.

    1. You have a javascript error which is causing those dates not to show in the back end
    2. The query that looks for that date is being interfered with.
    3. Another process is running that is archiving those posts

Please disable your other plugins and or move to a default theme. as one of them is the culprit
