Problem with PNG

    I recently made some changes to my favicon image and tried to replace it. My previous favicon was a PNG. Now when I try to upload the new image as either a .png or a .ico it cuts off the bottom of the image and adds a bunch of other distortions. It works fine when I save it as a jpg but I would prefer to save it as a png or something with transparency.

    Is this a bug with the new wordpress update or something else? I’m a real newbie at all of this so any help would be appreciated.

    It would be beneficial to see your site. What I can tell you is the image must be max 16×16, but you probably already know that.

    It randomly started working later that day. Still don’t know how or why. haha Thanks!
