Problem with plugin Nrelate using the index and the inside page

I’m using the plugin Nrelate in my new template and I am having trouble implata it as follows: need places related posts on the blog index.php and single.php inside, but when he put the tags and some do not appear nothing more!
Could someone give me a light?
I followed this tutorial, but without success!
