    Hi,

I’m not personally very familiar with Google News, the only information I can find regarding what images appear next to articles is: https://support.google.com/news/answer/3501?hl=en&ref_topic=13636

Do you know of a better resource?

Based on the above, my initial thought is, perhaps, Google News’ algorithm is ignoring images hosted offsite (which Photon images are), but I don’t have anything to confirm that.

    Hi Brandon,
The problem corresponds to what you say. Although many sites using the CDN is displayed correctly. It is not the same thing?

How could you solve the problem?

I’m afraid without knowing more about how Google News operates, I’m not sure what to suggest. The other sites might be using CDNs that use the same domain (e.g. files.example.com as the URL for the CDN) or Google News may realize the connection between them.

Without additional information, I would suggest disabling Photon depending on which is more critical for you.
