# Problem with Permalinks

 * For my Blog only the default permalink structure is working.
    If i change the
   structure to Day and name or Month and name format i am getting the below error.**
   The requested URL /2008/02/ was not found on this server.** I have tried deleting
   the .htaccess file but there is no use.
 * Please help me in resolving this issue. Thanks in anticipation

 * Try CHMODing the .htaccess file to 666, then changing the permalink structure
   and then (THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT) CHMODing it back to 644. Let WP try to overwrite
   the file with the new permalink info.

 * Sometimes when the htaccess file is changed it takes a bit for it to take effect.
   Wait for an hour (without messing with the htaccess file) after changing the 
   permalink structure and see if it works then 🙂
