# problem with permalinks

 * hi.. i “play” with permalinks in the admin panel to change the links like
 * /%category%/%postname%/ and work nice.. my old configuration is the
 * /%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%/
 * now when i change my new permalinks configuration to my old configuration, the
   changes dont take efects
 * when i see some categories i see
 * [http://www.mysite.com/categories/mycategories/mycategories1/](http://www.mysite.com/categories/mycategories/mycategories1/)
 * and when i see the post i see the correct permalinks
 * [http://www.mysite.com/year/month/day/postname/](http://www.mysite.com/year/month/day/postname/)
 * how i can fix it?
 * and now the changes dont
