    Hi

I have a site. Posts shows up normally one the frontpage (blogroll). I set up 10 post so pagination comes to play. I’m also using PageNavi plugin.

The problem is when I’m using wigtet ‘Categories”. I have set that categories tree should show up on the frontpage (www.mysite.com)and that is correct.

But when I’m clicking on 2 (www.mysite.com/page/2) there is no “Categories” widget.

    Any clues ?

    My site

On the left sidebar is “Kategorie”. It disapears when You click 2 or oder page from paginated sub-pages.

I think is some problem with “what” homepage is.

suomika.pl is ok but suomika.pl/page/2/…to last is not ok.

Do you have a second sidebar defined that doesn’t include the Kategorie widget? I don’t know how the Katagorie widget would be removed by the theme unless it was missing from the sidebar configuration.

I have checked and sidebars config is ok. I’m using “Kategorie” also on static pages like here KLIK and displaying is ok.

I’m thinking that some must be with pagination only on homepage.

    suomika.pl/ = OK

    suomika.pl/page/2…/ = NOT OK

The home page and all “pages” from the home page use index.php. So, if the sidebars are set on the home page they shouldn’t change on subsequent pages. Have you tried turning off autoptimize and WP Super Cache, and clearing the existing cache?

    Hi guys;
I’m the Autoptimize developer. If the pagination depends on JS, it could be due to AO, in which case you’d have to configure AO to exclude the JS in question. One can easily test without disabling AO alltogether, by adding “?ao_noptimize=1” to your URL.

    Hope this helps,
    frank

    THX for advices.

I have tried turning off both and nothing is happening.

How about clearing out the sidebar by removing all the widgets, run your site to verify that the sidebar is empty, then add the widgets one at a time to see if it stays configured the way you want.

    Good point !

I have created new sidebar and I have used a build in funkction to show on homepage (is_home) and it works. So it looks that the problem is with the JP Widget Visibility. I have tried few silimilar widgets and always is the same problem. Very strange.

OK. I’m testing Widget Context there is a chance that it will work. I will post results after some testing.
