Problem with page title on static posts page

  • Ok, here is what I did… I made the front page of my blog a static page through the reading options in the admin. I also made the “posts page” static through the same area in the admin. Now on my static posts page, the TITLE of the page just displays the site name twice (ex… SITE NAME | SITE NAME). It should be like this (ex… SITE NAME | PAGE NAME) I’m not sure why it is doing this, but here is what I have my header.php: <title><?php bloginfo('name'); ?> | <?php if (is_home()) {echo bloginfo('name');} elseif (is_404()) {echo 'Not Found';} elseif (is_category()) {
    echo 'Category:'; wp_title('');} elseif (is_search()) {echo 'Search Results';} elseif ( is_day() || is_month() || is_year() ) {echo 'Archives:'; wp_title('');
    } else {echo wp_title('');}?></title>
