Problem with new domain permalinks

  • Hi Guys, I’m having a problem and if someone could help me it would be great.

    I installed wordpress in a subfoloder of my own hosting, say http://www.my-site.com/blog. Now I have this new domain that I redirected to my blog subfolder, say http://www.my-blog.com.

    My problem is that now there are no permalinks and i can’t access the dashboard through my new domain. Every other page I click the address is always http://www.my-blog.com

    Thank you so much for your time

  • Try adding these lines in the end of config.php file

    define('WP_SITEURL', 'http://' . $_SERVER['SERVER_NAME']);

    define('WP_HOME',    'http://' . $_SERVER['HTTP_HOST']);

    You can get access to config file via FTP or Hosting Control panel.

    Hi ak.singla, Thanks

    It didn’t work :s

    I can actually go to some of the pages i have (not wp-admin page), but the address bar doesn’t update.
