Problem with my theme.

    Hello,

    I have a problem with my WordPress theme, whenever i want to make some changes on my theme like adding new widgets or adding some scripts and codes inside my theme files, i don’t see any changes on my blog, so every time i have to change the theme to the classic theme and then change back to my WordPress theme.

    I have tried my WordPress theme on a localhost server, whenever i make changes on the theme i can see the changes, i tried to upload my theme files again to my web server but it’s not working.

    Can you help me?

    Remember to press CTRL and F5 simultaneously when viewing an updated page/site. Or try emptying your browser cache. This should ensure that your web browser fetches a fresh copy of the page rather than serving up an out-dated copy from your own cache.

    Besides what esmi said, also when that happens to me it is related to file permission which doesn’t allow the files on the server to get updated. Or security plugins such as wordpress firewall which also doesn’t allow the files to be modified.

    Are you running any caching plugins?

    yes, WP Cache plugin.

    You’ll need to turn it off or refresh the cache to see your changes.

    Hi, i have disabled again WP-SUPER CACHE Plugin and my theme has worked fine, but i have a questions; every time when i want to make changes on my theme should i disable WP SUPER CACHE Plugin?
