I installed WP (version 3.0) into a new folder and new empty database. I uploaded my old DB via MySQL. I updated to the latest WP. I installed one new theme next to the default one. * All my DB problems are gone, but one problem in WP persists: * I have these problems in the WP menu builder: 1. Theme Locations, Custom Links and Pages … work. **I have 3 “Posts” boxes which list … nothing. I have three “Categories” boxes, one of which lists categories, the other two list nothing. * I assume that this was screwed up by one theme or another, so … * **Where can I find settings in the DB to maybe fix this? Does anyone have other ideas how to fix this? * Please remember that this is a new install with one extra theme (popular, used by many people, who do not have any of these problems) installed. Try looking in the wp_options table for the _db\_version_ number. I reinstalled 3.0 (no plugins but default) into a clean folder and clean DB. Then I uploaded my old October 2010 dump into the new DB. I then updated WP to the latest version.
