 * It seems ridiculous to open new topic for the same problem, but… forum rules.

It seems also, that the new wp 3.7.1 has problems with the media uploads. The
last topics on the forum are realted to the same problem. Here we go with my
one: wp-3.7.1(installed and reinstalled) Theme – 2013 Plugins-only “Ozh’ Admin
Drop Down Menu” Directories wp-content, uploads, 2013,11 have permission as following:
   755,755,755,755 and images – 644 I have checked and unchecked the Settings-Media-“
Organize my uploads into month- and year-based folders” ( according to an other
user this worked for her). What else I have o do in order to upload images to
Media Library and to be able to see them? Thank you very much for your help!

 * Which user owns the directories? Only that user can write the files to the disk
when uploaded. If it’s not the same user as the web server, uploads are not going
   to happen.
 * Check permissions/ownership of files in the root of the WordPress install. See
who owns them, owner and group. It may differ from the wp-content tree.

 * Hi WPRanger and thanks for your reply.
    The uploads is flcdmpe(0755) permission
and the ownership is defined by numbers like 7641… I’m not very confident with
this info and I can’t analyse it, but the other folders have the same information.

 * Can you screengrab the root of your WordPress install as seen through FTP and
then post a link for us to see. Maybe two or three grabs, showing wp-content/
   and uploads/
 * Mask any sensitive data before you post though, if there is any.

 * WPRanger,
Thank you for your time and wishes to help! I contacted webfusion,
my host, and they solve the problem. No idea how, but now I’m able to upload
pics without any problem. Thanks again!
