  • Hi Grun, check if you don’t have one.htaccess in the root. If that’s not working you can do a full clean install and add backup data to the new install.

    Oh!
    Well I see that I have no .htaccess in the root. I deleted it myself (after reading something about this), but I tought WP would re-create it after I saved my permalinks…

    I’m trying to create a new one with a text file but windows won’t let me create a file with no name… windows thinks “.htaccess” is an extension..

    You can access your .htaccess file through your hosts c-panel set up. Under Popular tools is a file manager which will allow you to edit. The apache.org site has a how to here:

    Personally, I would put a ticket in with your host support for a fix.
