Please let me know what have you done recently? Have you used any tool or button to update statistics?
Please navigate to Dashboard > Forums > Dashboard admin page. First click on [Update Forums Statistic], then [Update Topics Statistic] and finally the [Delete all caches].
After this, if you have a cache plugin, delete all caches of that plugin. Then do Ctrl+F5 on forum front and check it again.
Also please let me know which Forum Layout you use.

Have you recently changed forum layouts from Q&A to Simplified?

Hi there @gvectors-team the following is the only code change I have made, I added this to the custom CSS area of the forum so as to have round avatars:
#wpforo-wrap img.avatar{
border-radius: 50%;
}
Would that be the reason? I already posted on the official forum. thanks.

as for me … after doing the above steps and disable – enable the forum, it looks ok.
i also used the simple style and not the extended.
as for some topic here before some days “why category description” is not shown, i also think that it would make sense to show the description when something is written down in this field. maybe even with another color which can be choosen.
