# Problem with HTTP error code on uploading images

 * Hi all
    I am having trouble uploading photos into my media library/posts which
   displays the http error. I am running WordPress 4.4.2 with a forefront or mantle
   theme (originally) and using 123 reg as my host. I am currently travelling in
   South East with different internet capabilities so thought that, at first, it
   could be the issue. but now i am far behind and struggling to uploading any photos.
   I have checked each photo and they meet the requirements. My hosting provided
   suggested uploading photos via FileZilla (into the uploads folder?) but have 
   not appeared in the media library even though transferred successfully. I have
   changed the permissions folder to 744 with no success but possibility of making
   it worse? I have changed the themes too but they now seem to be effected and 
   have been ‘broken’ or simple (2012 or 2016 themes) I have also deactivated plugins
   and reactivated one by one with no difference. Just recently experience when 
   uploading that the ‘connection needs to be reset’.

   a beginner.

 * I have seen this one some servers where the images are large and the server struggles
   to process them on upload. Maybe try optimising image size prior to upload? The
   easiest way to confirm that this might be a problem is to try a much smaller 
   image and see if that uploads successfully.
