Problem with home page

    All I want on my home my home page is a summary and introduction to my blog. I don’t want any other post on the front page. How can I keep the category post form appearing on the from page. I may seem weird that I want it that way and it may not be possible, but if it is, can someone tell me how to configure it so it will appear like that.

    I want the categories to appear in the list in the sidebar. The will reflect only summaries and then the categories with go into depth about topics introduced in the pages.

    Create a Page (Dashboard -> Write -> Page) with the summary and intro that you want as content. Create a second Page, this time blank, and label it somethign like Blog or Posts or something simular. Then visit Dashboard -> Options -> (I believe it’s) Reading where you can select a static front page as well as another page for your posts to show up on.
