    I'm very new to wordpress and have somehow managed to include
    " /> on my header.
    I'm using Oxygen theme and I was trying to get Google to verify my site and posted their meta file on my static home page. It didn't work and I ended up verifying it by going through my host - but I still have this weird " /> on every page. Help????
    my site is alexandraspring.com
    Thank you

    The site I need help with is http://www.alexandraspring.com.

  2. I can see this in your html source:

    <!-- All in One Webmaster plugin by iCrunched.co --><meta name="google-site-verification" content="<meta name=\"google-site-verification\" content=\"MiTEifkrF9h4VZnuPdWQUAasl150OVfoalrNo7h5wGw\" />" />
    <!-- /All in One Webmaster plugin -->

    If you've verified the site, you probably don't need the all in one webmaster plugin. Try deactivating and see if that takes care of it.

    Thanks Christine - I've deactivated the plugin but it doesn't seem to have cleared it. I'll keep checking in case it takes a while - or should it happen quickly?

  4. I see that you also have super cache on. Maybe try clearing the cache?

    Thanks nitin_8 - I've just put it in pastebin as Header text

    My site has now got an odd 'ç' in the title too

    Very odd

  7. Can you provide a link to the pastebin so we can see the code?

    Thanks Christine

  9. Well I can see the ç in there, so that just needs to be deleted, but the issue of the /> is not in there. I'm still convinced that it's coming from a plugin. I would delete all the plugins, clear super cache and then reactivate them one by one.

    Aha! Think that's done the trick - I got rid of a few of the newer ones and it seems to have worked!

    Thanks so much!
