Problem with Google Sitemap…

    I hope someone can help… I am using Arne’s wonderful Google Sitemaps plugin (v3.0b1) on site. Initially, everything was working great but today I noticed on the Google Sitemap page that the two feeds that the plugin is generating are showing up with a “Sitemap Status” of “Not Found”. When I view the details of the error it says:

    “We couldn’t find the Sitemap at the location you provided. Please make sure the Sitemap URL is correct and resubmit your Sitemap.”

    I checked the location of the sitemaps and they are both there and reachable from my browser:

    http://www.japanesepod101.com/sitemap.xml
    http://www.japanesepod101.com/sitemap.xml.gz

    Has anyone encountered this error beofre??? Is it possible that it is the syntax of the sitemaps that is causing Google to not find them?
