Support » Plugins and Hacks » Problem with Google Doc Embedder plugin and some image formats
4 years, 12 months ago
After installing plugin Google Doc Embedder, version 2.4, the insertion of JPG and PNG images via WordPress editor gives the following error:
“image/png not a value in supported_exts”
As this problem didn’t happen before activating Google Doc Embedder and doesn’t happen after deactivating the plugin, I suppose it has to do with it.
In fact, the situation is quite tricky: if I re-activate the plugin after publishing the post, the PNG inserted is shown. In case you can see the site, here you have the URL: http://dpto.educacion.navarra.es/blogpnte/, and the post concerned, http://dpto.educacion.navarra.es/blogpnte/2012/05/03/presentacion-juego-gurbinjuego.
Any idea will be welcome.
Ah! You have definitely caught a bug there. I apologize for this and will post a patch as soon as testing is complete.
Thanks a lot.
I’m working on tracking down another issue, but you can update to the test version which should fix this problem. Otherwise it will be fixed in 2.4.1 release. Again – thanks for pointing this out to me.
Nice work! Version 2.4.1 works fine, and the problem with images seems to have been fixed.
On the other hand, the debug information link is a very good idea. I’ve added the new text strings to the spanish translation.
Thanks, I’ll update it in the final release. I appreciate it!
