Problem with GoDaddy host

    Hello,

    I have a problem to duplicate the my website to GoDaddy host. “Both Server Connected” and “Database Found” are “Fail”.

    I tried with this solution here:

    Did everything as lulugoh said, but when I click on Deploy, it gives me this error:

    server code: 200
status: OK
response:
INSTALL ERROR!
DATABASE CONNECTION FAILED!
Access denied for user 'xxxxx_wpusr'@'xxxxxx.iad2.secureserver.net' (using password: YES)

    I linked the user to the database and gave all privileges.

    Also, I tried to contact GoDaddy support, but they said that they don’t support any plugin and for easy to move my wordpress website, I need to purchase another plan for wordpress.
    Currently I’m using their “Deluxe Linux Hosting with cPanel” plan, and I’m pretty sure wordpress can be installed/moved on this plan (correct me if I’m wrong!).

    I’ve been using this plugin to move a lot of websites and I haven’t any problems. The plugin just rocks.
    Note: None of the websites was hosted on GoDaddy before.

    Any ideas?

    Hey Tupacan,

    Sorry you having issues with the host. I would try to connect with a tool like: https://dev.mysql.com/downloads/workbench or another one of your choice just to see if you can get a connection established.

    If you can get through with another tool then submit a support ticket and I’ll see if I can help you pin-point the issue. If you can’t get through with the other tool then GD needs to work with you on what creds you should use to connect…
