problem with genesis simple sidebars and hooks

    running latest versions of wp 4.5.3 have genesis 2.3.0 as theme with landscape as active theme get activation error message when I try to activate

    Sorry, you cannot run Simple Hooks without WordPress 3.9.2 and Genesis 2.1.0, or greater.
    same with sidebars
