    Hi,

Since I update wordpress and all my extensions, I am experiencing a problem with Nextgen gallery.

I have a page named “Photo” where I just display an album, composed by 15 different galleries. Galleries are well displayed, but the link to get the gallery displayed is malformed (…/photos/nggallery) instead of “/photos/$gallery_name” , I suppose?. When I click on the gallery link, nothing happen and I get stuck in the album page.

You can have an example here : http://www.lesanglaisesontlacote.org/photos/

    Nextgengallery version : 2.0.66

    Thanks!
    Thomas

  • @torteliert, did you try to activate a WordPress default theme, deactivating all other plugins and clear cache to see if the issue is still present?
After that, if you reactivate them one by one, each time checking, you can see what plugin is in conflict.

@torteliert – I tried to visit your site several times and on one of those visits I was redirected to what appears to be some sort of “scam” site … have you reviewed your entire installation for any potentially malicious scripts and/or software? It only happened the one time but it I would still recommend reviewing your site just in case.

Otherwise, it appears you may have set your galleries to link to your album page which is causing them to never actually show the images in them.

@cais, I have checked right now with Sucuri that site and the results are negative for malware (maybe I haven’t seen nothing on that page because I have Adblock installed).
Surely for @torteliert it is better to scan the site anyway locally with a good antivirus, but now I realize that probably you’re right on the second suggestion.

@tizz – Thanks for checking and *not* finding any malware … I was quite surprised when I was redirected and I am still unable to reproduce that event. My apologies to @torteliert if I have implied anything poorly, it is only a suggestion from what I observed (once).

I have the redirected link in my “History” if it is needed for anything, I do not think it would be correct to post it here … just in case.

    Hi @tizz & @photocrati,

I’ve checked the website for any malware, nothing wrong to me 🙁

I’ve set the theme to the wordpress default one, nothing changed.
I desactivated all the other extensions, nothing changed.

BUT, I did not try this earlier (sorry), I updated every gallery (without any modification), I deleted my album, recreated it with the same gallery.

Every thing is working fine now.

Any known bug about broken links after upgrading nextgen?

Thanks both of you for your help, thanks photocrati for the nextgen extension 😉

@torteliert – I’m glad things are working correctly, and even happier I was mistaken with that redirect I experienced … again, my apologies for any inconveniences it may have caused.

As to links breaking with recent version updates from their most recent previous version, none that I am aware of.
