The plugin worked well with almost every theme. But recently, I started using a premium theme by Mojo-themes(Devine) and the theme itself has FortAweSome font integrated.

The class “icon-” used by the theme conflicts with BootStrap. Conflict means it is not a severe issue, but something we need to fix.

When we use a font icon some where in the site, both the BootStrap plugin and the theme’s shortcodes try to show the font icon when ever “icon-” is present. Then it looks messy when the icon appears by different sizes at same place over-laping each other.

I tried to remove FortAweSome from the theme. It might fix the issue. But I may loss many added features by theme’s shortcodes for the font icons which I enjoy using them.

So I cannot disable the theme’s class “icon-” or font directory. Can you suggest me how to disable the BootStrap plugin from executing the font from it’s end? So that it appears just for once(The theme’s and not plugin)

There’s nothing you can do here that’s permanent, because as soon as you update the Bootstrap library, you lose it.

I find this a bit odd since they state on their website complete compatibility with bootstrap (http://fortawesome.github.io/Font-Awesome/#integration) it might worth contacting them to find out how.

That’s all I can suggest for now since it’s really down to font-awesome to play nice with it, given it says it does.

I know this isn’t a solution, but it’s all I can suggest for now. Hope it helps.
    Cheers,
    Paul.
